An Atlantic front will bring humid and increasingly cooler air to the Alps on Sunday. Consequently, the air will be mostly denser and scattered downpours are expected. The weather will slowly calm down later throughout the day. The snow line will sink partly below 2500m above sea level in the high mountains. A temporary high-pressure area will be noticeable at the beginning of the new week and longer sunny intervals are temporarily expected. Towards midweek, the next bad weather front will follow and the changeable summer weather will continue. Dense clouds will repeatedly result in scattered rain showers or even sporadic thunderstorms and the temperatures will be rather low for August.
