When driving to Warth, it’s important you enter the postal code 6767 in your navigation system (6888 for Schröcken). The reason for that: There is a village of the same name in Lower Austria – more than 600 kilometres away.
By car
Warth-Schröcken is located between 1,269 and 1,500 metres above sea level and thus boasts lots of snow in winter. During your stay, you can expect heavy snowfall. That’s why the access roads are often closed due to snow clearance work. Hence, it’s important that you bring adequate winter equipment such as snow chains.
