Summer Weather in the Arlberg

Once a weak weather system has passed, from Friday onwards the wind will once again ease off significantly, whilst a new area of high pressure settles over our region. This means we can look forward to some of the finest Indian summer weather over the next few days, with temperatures rising once more to late-summer levels. As early as Friday, only a few thin, wispy clouds will dot the sunny sky. The north-westerly wind will also ease off noticeably. Over the weekend, late-summer warmth will set in alongside plenty of sunshine. The frost line will be around 4,000 metres. This wonderfully beautiful spell of weather – which is unusually warm for the time of year – is unlikely to change much until the middle of next week. However, the atmospheric conditions will become more unstable, meaning that from Monday onwards, a few cumulus clouds will join the sunshine during the second half of each day.
