Summer Weather in the Arlberg

By midweek, the influence of high pressure will strengthen again, and the upper-level flow will increasingly shift to a southerly direction. Once the remaining cloud patches clear, the sun should be able to shine for longer on Wednesday, and it will also be pleasantly warm in the afternoon. On Thursday, the southerly foehn will strengthen, and the sun should dominate as high-pressure conditions persist. Although some cumulus clouds will form later in the day, the likelihood of thunderstorms and rain showers remains low for now. It will be warm, with midsummer-like conditions. After that, an Atlantic front will approach. On Friday, the southerly foehn wind will hold it back somewhat. Later, however, it should become increasingly thunderous, and by Saturday, the storm front will move through. It will also bring more rain showers, and temperatures will drop. Behind the front, however, the weather should improve again.
