Current conditions

In the middle of the week, a weak intermediate high pressure system with frequent sunshine will initially prevail before the weather will become more changeable. The susceptibility to showers and thunderstorms will increase significantly, especially in the second half of the day. The front of the next low pressure system will bring humid and unstable air masses into the country. A striking weather front will cross us in the night to Thursday – in some cases with intense downpours. On Thursday itself, it will be noticeably cooler and the influence of low pressure will ensure cloudy and shower-prone weather. The weather from Friday onwards will depend on the path of a so-called high-altitude low. Unfortunately, the details of this weather situation are difficult to predict. In general, however, very unsettled weather is to be expected: sometimes the sun will shine, sometimes rain showers will pass through. Temperatures are below average for the time of year. No beach weather!
„As a meteorologist in the region, I am not only very familiar with the small-scale meteorological particuliarities that distinguish the Arlberg region from other regions, but also with the demands that locals and guests place on a regional weather report.“
