Lech Zürs is a ski resort in Austria’s Vorarlberg province, near the borders with Germany and Switzerland. The ski region lies in the heart of Ski Arlberg, Austria’s largest ski resort. By car, access to Lech Zürs from the west is via Bregenz and Klostertal, and from the east via Innsbruck and Stanzertal.

The geographic and meteorological features of the Arlberg – particularly its Alpine altitude and northwest weather pattern – make Lech Zürs a highly snow-sure ski region. Zürs am Arlberg is Austria’s snowiest winter sports resort, based on the total daily snowfall.
Lech Zürs is linked to St. Anton, St. Christoph, and Stuben via the Flexenbahn, as well as to Warth-Schröcken by the Auenfeldjet, placing it at the heart of Austria’s largest ski resort.
Take the Rüfikopfbahn cable car up. From there, continue on a variety of ski runs to the Schüttbodenlift and then to the Trittalpbahn cable car in Zürs.
The Madloch serves as the ski link between Zürs and Lech. The Madlochbahn carries skiers up to the Madlochjoch, 2,450 metres above sea level. From there, several slopes descend towards Zug and Lech.

Yes. The mountain summer season in Lech Zürs starts every year in June and lasts until the beginning of October. With the Lech Zürs summer cable cars, you can quickly find yourself immersed in the stunning panorama of the Arlberg hiking trails.
