Ski Arlberg’s regions are easily reachable by car from all directions. In winter, it’s wise to check for potential road closures in advance. Ensure your vehicle is equipped with winter gear, including snow chains, for a safe journey.

From Vorarlberg, the motorway extends to Bludenz. From Tirol, it reaches Landeck. The final stretch unfolds along well-maintained express and local roads. The toll-operated Arlberg Road Tunnel provides a reliable winter connection between both sides.

Travelling by train

Ski Arlberg is seamlessly connected to the ÖBB rail network. Express trains stop at both Langen am Arlberg (Vorarlberg) and St. Anton am Arlberg (Tirol). In St. Anton, the village centre and ski resort are just a short walk from the station. Regular buses run from both stations to the Lech Zürs ski regions, while Warth-Schröcken is accessible via bus connections from Dornbirn station.

Anyone with a valid Verkehrsverbund Vorarlberg (VVV) ticket (single ticket, day ticket, weekly ticket, monthly ticket, annual ticket) can purchase a SkipassBonusTicket for 10 cents when traveling by public transport (bus/train) to the Ski Arlberg ski region and take advantage of the discounted day ski pass.

The road connection between Warth and Lech is normally closed from the end of November to the beginning of May due to

avalanche danger (winter closure). However, the exact opening date depends on weather conditions and may vary. The current status of the road connection can be found here.
