Weather in Lech Zürs

Between a high-pressure system centred over the North Sea and a low-pressure system over Italy, the Eastern Alps will initially be situated within an easterly flow characterised by very dense fog at the start of November. At the same time, an upper-level low bringing significantly colder air will brush past us on Sunday, resulting in temporary early-winter cold at all altitudes. Furthermore, light, sporadic precipitation cannot be entirely ruled out on Sunday. Essentially, however, the far too dry spell is set to continue. The sun will generally struggle to break through on Sunday; even in the mountains, it will have to share the sky with clouds. At the start of the new week, however, the chances of sunshine are significantly better again. Even over the valleys, the blanket of high fog should temporarily lift, though it will become denser again on Tuesday. On Wednesday, too, clouds will continue to play a significant role in the weather. It is not until the second half of the week that we will once again move more firmly into the centre of a high-pressure system, meaning the air will generally become drier and very sunny weather will prevail once more. This will also bring noticeably milder temperatures, with the frost line settling at around 2,500 metres.
