The local bus links all districts of Lech, Oberlech, and Zürs at frequent intervals. With a valid ski ticket, trips to the valley stations, the village centre, or your accommodation are free of charge.

Interregional connections

Regional buses operate for a fee, offering connections to nearby towns and the closest train station. Cashless payment via card or smartphone is available on lines 750 and 760.

James – der Nachtbus

James keeps you connected beyond the last bus.

After local bus service ends, the night bus James operates. Between 7:30 pm and 2 am, it ensures safe connections within the ski region.

All guests with a valid ski ticket travel free of charge on the local bus.

The local bus runs frequently and is designed to meet the needs of skiers. During peak hours in the morning and afternoon, buses operate at short intervals to minimise waiting times.

The local bus serves the entire Lech Zürs area. Regional buses (for a fee) additionally connect to nearby towns and the closest train stations:

  • Line 750 W/S: Langen – Stuben – Zürs – Lech
  • Line 760 W/S: St. Anton – St. Christoph – Zürs – Lech

Yes, dogs are allowed on the local buses. Please observe the general conditions of carriage – in particular the obligation to wear a muzzle and a lead.

The ‘James’ night bus is available for night-time return journeys – daily from 7:30 pm to 2 am.

There are excellent connections between Lech and Zürs – and not only on skis. If you’re travelling without skis, take line 703, which runs every 10 minutes during the peak season.

To travel beyond the Arlberg region, take the regional buses, which provide seamless connections to trains and nearby towns. While a fee applies, they are the ideal way to get here and back.

St. Anton is also accessible directly on skis via the Flexenbahn cable car. If you’re travelling without skis, take line 760, which runs several times a day from Lech through Zürs to St. Anton.

In winter, the road between Lech Zürs and Warth-Schröcken is usually closed. However, the ski link via the Auenfeldjet connecting lift remains open, allowing you to ski to Warth. Travelling by bus covers a much larger route and is therefore far more time-consuming.
