  • Gampen restaurant

    At 2,330 metres, the Kapall Restaurant is the highest mountain hut above St. Anton am Arlberg. Enjoy Tirolean cuisine directly on the sun terrace with views of the Stanzertal valley – right below the Kapallbahn mountain station.

  • Rendl restaurant

    Take in the impressive mountain scenery on the sun terrace and recharge your body and soul. Start directly at the restaurant on the Almrosenweg (don’t miss its children’s playground) and treat yourself to alpine flavours at 2,032 metres on the Rendl.

The Arlberg Trail

The Arlberg Trail connects the five Arlberg villages of St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs and Lech into one unique long-distance hiking experience. Spanning around 50 kilometres across three stages, keen hikers can discover the impressive mountain scenery of the Arlberg. Panoramic trails, clear lakes and cosy huts dot the route. Take advantage of the cable cars to plan your tour flexibly.

The following restaurants are open for you during the mountain summer season: Rendl Restaurant, Verwallstube Sommer, Valluga View Restaurant, Gampen Restaurant, and Kapall Restaurant. Please check the current opening hours.

This summer, families can look forward to playgrounds and children’s adventure trails. There’s plenty to discover on the Hopplweg, while interactive stations on the Mutweg at Galzig offer fun and games. The playgrounds are located right next to the mountain restaurants, so you can perfectly combine a meal with some fun.

St. Anton offers a wide variety of options for hiking enthusiasts: you can explore leisurely loop trails, tackle challenging mountain hikes, or venture onto the via ferrata for experienced climbers. The Almrosenweg trail is particularly popular when the alpine roses are in bloom.

The mountain railways provide convenient access to the starting points of the bike tours, including the Rendl Trail and the Galzig Trail.

From mid-June through the end of October, the following mountain railways are in operation: Galzigbahn, Vallugabahn I & II, Gampen-/Nassereinbahn, Kapallbahn, and Rendlbahn. Please note the operating days and hours for each.

You can buy tickets for the cable cars at the base station of the Galzigbahn, the ticket machine at the Galzibahn or conveniently online in the web shop. For a single-ride descent, you can buy your ticket directly from the lift staff at the mountain station.
