Summer Weather in the Arlberg

The passage of a cold front during the night leading into Thursday will only bring a brief spell of slightly changeable weather, and temperatures will not drop significantly either. By Thursday itself, the remaining clouds will soon give way to sunshine more frequently. And on Friday afternoon, only a brief spell of rain is expected. Friday morning itself will bring dry weather, and we may even see a few rays of sunshine. The weekend will then bring a marked and sustained improvement in the weather. Saturday promises the clearest sunshine, as on Sunday extensive, high cloud fields are likely to dampen the sunshine somewhat. Temperatures will generally rise more sharply as a result, feeling more like late summer than autumn once again. The frost line will be around 4,000 metres above sea level. At the start of the new week, we’ll be briefly touched by slightly cooler air and a few harmless clouds on the periphery. However, the late-summer feel to the weather is far from over yet.
