Weather Forecast
The lingering effects of high summer, which are still holding their own here at the moment, will be pushed out of the Alpine region for good on Wednesday by a cold front. It will cool down, though a marked drop in temperature is not on the cards. Temperatures will simply adjust to the season. Whilst the sun will clearly dominate the sky once again on Tuesday, mostly thick clouds will cover the sky on Wednesday. This will be accompanied by the first isolated rain showers from early on. After midday, the front will arrive, bringing heavy rain and localised thunderstorms. According to the latest weather models, there are now signs of a delayed improvement in the weather over the coming days. The remnants of the weather system are likely to remain in our vicinity on Thursday and Friday, bringing a risk of showers at certain times of the day. On Thursday, heavy cloud cover will predominate, whilst on Friday there will be sunny spells. For the weekend, rising air pressure and increasing sunshine are on the cards. At the same time, temperatures will start to rise again.
