Summer Weather in the Arlberg

A high-pressure system will bring mostly pleasant weather with plenty of sunshine and slightly warmer air masses on Wednesday. In the afternoon, temperatures in low-lying valleys will rise to summer-like levels. On Thursday, the outlying edges of a strong low-pressure system over the Baltic Sea will brush past us. It will be cloudy at times, and temperatures will drop noticeably once again. Light rain is likely to fall only occasionally; for the most part, it will remain dry. Yet we are in desperate need of this precipitation. The precipitation deficit this summer is truly considerable. Warmer air masses will reach us from Friday into Saturday. The sun will clearly dominate under the influence of a temporary high-pressure system. However, the next weather deterioration is already on the horizon: it will set in by Sunday at the latest.
