Summer Weather in the Arlberg

High-pressure conditions will continue to influence the weather in the coming days, and the stability of the atmospheric layers will even increase temporarily. As a result, the sun will shine most of the time, and only occasionally will a few high-altitude veil clouds and some harmless cumulus clouds over the mountains slightly obscure the sunshine. Temperatures will remain very summer-like, so it will be warm even in the mountains. Over the weekend, the influence of the high-pressure system will slowly diminish, and atmospheric instability will increase again. While the sun will still shine at times—especially in the afternoons and evenings, as well as over the mountains—the risk of thunderstorms will initially rise significantly. At the start of the week, an Atlantic front carrying slightly cooler air masses is even expected to make its way toward us.
