Kästle Mountain Museum

Since 1924. One hundred years ago, master carpenter Anton Kästle Sr. laid the foundation for the eventful history of a legendary ski brand that would become closely associated with the Arlberg region over the years. The first Kästle skis, made of ash wood, were named after the so-called cradle of skiing and bore the name Arlberg Ski. It was not until later, in the 1950s, that the name Kästle replaced the registered ski brand “Arlberg.” Today, the company is celebrating its 100th anniversary and looking to the future with enthusiasm. The Kästle Mountain Museum was established some time ago to honor and showcase the company's long history. No place would be more suitable for this than the Lech-Zürs ski resort. The museum, which was redesigned to mark the 100th anniversary, is located at the Rüfikopf 2 mountain station.
