The delayed opening of some lifts and cable cars is often due to safety measures. Especially after heavy snowfall, safety measures such as avalanche blasting and marking ski runs must be carried out before operations can begin.

In the event of heavy snowfall, the slopes must first be secured (e.g., avalanche commission meeting,
avalanche blasting). This usually takes place first thing in the morning. Only then can some slopes be opened.
