The large panoramic windows of the Verwallstube restaurant are like picture frames, complimenting the perfect mountains of the Arlberg at 2,085 m above sea level masterfully.
The snow-covered slopes around the peaks of the Patteriol, the Saumspitze, the Scheibler, the Kuchenspitze, the Parseier and the Valluga ensure an elated experience among guests.
But the real highlight is soon on the plates and in the glasses, when the team led by Manfred Fahrner serve their award-winning creations and highly decorated wines. The dishes on the menu are poetry made edible, and the fish specialities in particular are known far beyond the country's borders. The testers from Gault Millau could not resist this and the gourmet oasis scored 15 out of 20 possible points, earning it two toques. The Verwallstube restaurant is therefore one of the highest-situated toque-awarded restaurants in Europe.
