Between a high-pressure area over the Atlantic and a low-pressure area over Scandinavia our regions will get into a strong north-westerly current around midweek, which will result in humid air masses accumulating along the north side of the Alps on Wednesday. The centre of the precipitation will be located in the east of Innsbruck, only small amounts of rain will probably fall in our regions. Also the temperatures will only slightly decrease, the snow line will remain above 2000m. Dryer conditions are expected on Thursday, mild air will determine the weather. Bright sunshine will return to the skies and these conditions will continue on Friday. Stormy weather and a southerly föhn wind are expected at the weekend, which will probably bring large amounts of precipitation to the main Alpine ridge.
